Privacy

Who we are

Beyond Border Group Ltd is a company registered in Hong Kong. We are the holding entity for a group of cross-border agencies, including BearingBridge, BeyondBridge, TheRedScroll, ChinaWebFoundry, BeyondCompass, HubStudio, and Nuvora Studio. This policy covers bearingbridge.org and the data we collect through it. Each agency may publish its own policy on its own site.

What we collect

Two kinds of data. The first is information you give us directly. When you fill in the contact form, ask for a proposal, or work with us on a project, we keep what you share: name, email, phone, company, the brief you describe, and anything you choose to add.

The second is information your browser leaves behind during a visit. Standard server logs (IP address, user agent, time of visit, pages viewed), and a small set of cookies described in our Cookie Policy.

How we use it

We use what you give us to:

• answer your inquiry and follow up on it,
• deliver the work you have hired us for,
• operate and improve the site,
• send marketing only when you have asked for it, and stop when you ask us to stop,
• handle invoicing and contracts,
• meet our legal and tax obligations.

Server logs and cookies are aggregated for performance and traffic patterns. They are not tied to individual visitors and we do not try to combine them with the personal data above.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We do not rent it. The people who see it are the BBG team, the relevant agency team inside the group, and the small number of vendors we use to run the business (email, hosting, accounting, payments, video calls). Those vendors are bound by confidentiality agreements and by their own privacy terms. We will hand over data when a court or regulator with proper jurisdiction asks us to, and not otherwise.

Security

We run reasonable technical and organizational measures: encrypted transit, access controls, vendors with comparable standards. No system on the open internet is perfectly safe, and we will not pretend ours is. If we suffer a breach that affects your data, we will notify you and the regulator as required by law.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• show you what we hold on you,
• correct it if it is wrong,
• delete it, when no contract or law requires us to keep it,
• stop using it for marketing,
• withdraw a consent you previously gave.

Email hello@bearingbridge.org. We aim to reply within 30 days. If you are unhappy with our reply, the Hong Kong Privacy Commissioner is the regulator who oversees us under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance.

Children

This site is built for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us data, write to us and we will delete it.

Third-party sites

We link to other sites: agency sites in our group, partner pages, social platforms. Once you click out, the rules of those sites apply, not ours.

Changes

We may revise this policy. The date at the top tells you when. Material changes will be flagged on the site so you can read them before you decide what to do.
